Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. Wash on a regular basis. I also recommend cutting out any relaxed/permed hair as soon as possible. The area of the hair that crosses over from natural to treated can be quite weak and is prone to breakage. I had a terrible time with this when I was growing my perm out.

Me- I have Natural locks and I'm neither blond nor brown. It's just that everytime that I wash my hair, I comb with my finger to ''unlock'' the locks, while putting the conditioner. I think there's a special conditioner for untangling ( I mean solving the problem) your locks instantly. Sorry for my hard-to-understand description!

Treat your hair with respect! Don't burn it with chemicals or heat styling if possible. You really need to keep them moisturized. I have trouble with mine as I suffer from excema so have to be careful what I use. Try not to wash too often, but when you do, use a gentle shampoo and a stronger conditioner. Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week and get regular haircuts to keep split ends at bay. I love my hair but there are plenty of times when I just want to shave it all off!!

You must make sure that you wash your hair 2-3 times a week to keep your hair moist so that it does not get dry and break off. You will love this site.
