It's pretty hard to know if information found on the internet is accurate. I've been an enthusiastic "Mormon" since I was twenty, and will be delighted to answer e-mail questions.

If you want reliable websites, the official website for the church is at:

http://www.lds.org/

Official information for people interested in the church can be found here:

http://www.mormon.org/

...and you can locate the nearest LDS church here:

Chris Heimerdinger's website.[1] He's an LDS author, and he answers questions about all sorts of things, church or otherwise.

Also look at some of my questions. I asked one much like this one.

I am also LDS.

This isn't the place. Go to an LDS site or better yet Joyce Meyer.org.

If you go to http://www.beliefnet.com they have a Mormon section. I believe the LDS there could help you.

If your founding principals come by way of the Angel Moroni, shouldn't you call yourselves Morons? And doesn't that give you a clue the whole spiel is bogus? Like a joke, with little clues in the story, because he thinks so little of you that he can't help making fun? The founder, Joseph Smith, that is.
