I think about death all the time too. Anyone who does not has not reached full maturity. Those who anticipate death, think about death and accept death AND maintain a normal lifestyle are fully matured. Those who say seek therapy and counseling because you think about death are not fully mature and probably need counseling themselve. Most likely those people still live with their moms too. I think about Death all the time and see that it is a natural part of this life. It can unlock parts of your mind that you never knew you had and make it so you can accept other things in life easier than most people. I am just another joe in the world too and I ponder death all the time and what it could be like. Please feel free to contact me club_chub@yahoo.com and talk about your ideas of life and death and why we think about this all the time. I dont know anyone else who thinks about death as much as me and you are the first other. I do not think it is a problem because I am a very productive person with a high IQ and awesome persona...

It depends how you think of death. In my dream profession (forensic pathology) learn to like thinking about helps you solve the crimes etc. but some people just have an obsession with death that can lead the wrong ways. I would go to a phycologist to find out if there is something wrong.

Yes, I do! It's not normal to do so, most people rather not think about it. Especially their own!
But then if you happen to be Steven King or a mystery writer etc. then I can understand it.
But you aren't clear on what reason you like to think about it - that would make a big difference if there is something seriously wrong with you.

It depends on the context of your thoughts. Some people think about death to "live life to the edge" as death motivates them to do the things they would not normally do. If you think about death as suicide, you should talk to someone about it....... life is worth way too much to give up.

Sounds like your thoughts may be obsessive. Maybe you should go talk it over w/ a Licensed Counselor.

You must be having concerns about it, since you're asking. I'd definitely recommend a talk w/ a mental health professional.

Good luck...
