excel file?

i have to read an excel file from the first record to the last... but what i really want to read it from last to first,,, i don't want to open up excel file internally

I don't understand what you are asking. I normally setup a sumary page and use other pages for data. So when you can just look at the sumary page and get all the needed info. If there is an error you click on that cell and start following it backwards till you find the problem.
