If you're talking about places that are not underwater, the answer is yes.
There is an island called "North Sentinel Island" in the Bay of Bengal. North Sentinel Island is home to a tribe of indigenous people, the Sentinelese, whose present numbers are uncertainly estimated to be anywhere between 50-400 individuals. They are basically the last of the "uncontacted peoples" on Earth.
In any event, the Sentinelese are noted for vigorously maintaining their independence and sovereignty over the island, and resisting attempts of contact by outsiders. By their long-standing separation from any other human society they are among the most isolated and unassimilated peoples on Earth, their social practices being almost entirely free of any recorded external influence.
So, except for the Sentinelese themselves, their island is basically unexplored.

Under the polar ice caps - but with global warming we will all soon see what's under there.
Seriously though, scientists are exploring the lake that is under the polar ice cap in the south pole. So, we may know what lurks below very soon.
