Inhale through your nose all the way into your gut.
Exhale through your mouth pushing the air out from your gut.

Don't know how unordinary these are but...
- Don't eat after 7 p.m. at night. If you stick to this, you cut out late night snacks, which are a killer for adding weight.
- While you are watching TV, don't just sit there. Move your arms around, get up and walk around the room, do jumping jacks, stand up and sit down. All you want to do is make sure you are NOT just sitting there watching TV. ANY activity is better than none.
- If you have one, take your dog for a walk every day. It will greatly benefit your dog, also. If you do not have a dog, take a walk anyway. It doesn't have to be very far. Just take a walk however far you want. Just do more than you have been and you will feel better and start burning more energy than previously.
- Take the stairs whenever possible. No more elevators.

Detoxifying your body, changing your diet and incorportating a daily exercise routine is the best way to lose weight. By detoxifying, you cleanse your body of the toxins that we collect through the foods we eat, the fluids we drink and the air we breathe. These toxin accumulate in our organs, especially our Liver and Kidneys, as well as in our lymph system, causing them to lose efficiency. Once the function of our Liver and Kidney begins losing their efficiency, our bodies begin to store more and more toxins in our lymph systems which then overflows into the fat cells of our bodies. Our system then compensates by creating more phlegm to try and contain the toxins. This is how weight gain begins. Eating healthy can be financially expensive but the alternative, while more convienient certainly, can be VERY Expensive when it comes to your health.
Finally, incorporating a daily exercise program will not only help you lose weight, but will also have the benefit of boosting your energy, helping ensure a good night's sleep and clarifying your thought process. It's a Win-Win-Win step of losing weight and keeping it off! Yoga is a great way to fullfill your exercise quota. It can be done daily and there are Yoga styles to fit vertually everyone! You can join a group or do it at home. Whatever you choose to do for exercise, remember that the idea is not to build strength but to increase your flexibility and your body's ability to maintain equal flow of all the body's fluids.
If you incorporate all three things in your life, you will have tremendous success with losing weight and ensuring that the weight stays off. I have yet to see this combination fail! Good Luck!

The only thing I did was to cut out extra salt, I started eating more fruit and vegetables, I cut out french frys, and fried foods.
and started cooking more foods at home and eating out less at fast food places.
I also started working out in the yard and garden more.

one way to lose weight is to try to eat newton fig instead of junkfood like chips and dip. it doesn't look it but it will fill you up and try splitting up your meals into more segments and eat one of them per hour .
