exactly, I'm starting to sense fear out of some anti's..
I've seen so many successes from illegals that it gave me the reason to be a supporter of an amnesty...
I've seen people (specially from Mexico, some from El Salvador) come with No money...
They find a job, earn money, and get a nice car....
I've seen these immigrants buy houses also..
when they can, they try to learn the language which is English...
Why is it wrong for them to approach a better life and have a better life?
They shouldn't be criminalized. The government should only have the right to criminalize those who brings drugs and who mess with the criminal laws...

By definition, those "Mexicans" whose ancestors were from California, Texas and those Southwest areas taken over by the US, they would be Native to what we call America. However the true definition of Native American is A person who is an American Indian, Eskimo, Aleut or Native Hawaiian, and regarded as such by the community of which the person claims to be a part. Native Americans must be documented members of a North American tribe, band or otherwise organized group of native people who are indigenous to the continental United States and proof can be provided through a Native American Blood Degree Certificate (ie, tribal registry letter, tribal roll register number). I'm not sure that if they knew the ramifications of being "Native American" and the fact that, as Mexican Americans they actually have more rights, they would not be in a hurry to sign up.

Because the native americans, did not have a constitution, and the laws derived thereof.
If you read some history about the native americans, you will find that they had great wars amongst the different Indidan Nations. What they did to the White man, instead of deporting them was to kill them and then remove their scalps, and display them around the tribal camps. The native americans did not welcome the white man.
THe white man took a nation ruled by the sword, per say, and turned iot into a nation ruled by law.The white man has passed laws and established methods by which any citizen of the world can come here, to work, live and be happy.
THe whole key is that you must follow our laws. Illegal is ILLEGAL.
Anything else anybody say or does is just bullshit, and means nothing to me.
I have to live within the laws of my country, state, county, and city. So should everyone else who is in my country. If you don't like it or are not willing to be legal, then go home.
And, by the way, I was born here in the United States of America. I am a true American. I served in the military for thirteen years, so that everyone in this country could be free. That includes people who are Illegals. You have some rights, as a human being, but not as a citizen. If I had the power, I would take away all of the opportunities that you gained while being illegal. Just becasue you were illegal, then became legal doesn't mean squat to me. You need account for the time that you were illegal, and living off the taxpayers dime. You need to pay it back, community service would be a good start. Or are you one of those that loves america because of the things you get, but refuse to pay back for the generosity, and hate our people because we want our government to secure our borders and regulate who comes into our country.
Just because you were able to blend in and make something of your self, does not mean that every illegal who is here, or who sneaks in tomorrow will do the same.
And for BEAST. If you are American, you aren't a good one. We are the greatest Nation on the Planet. And always will be. The Illegal Immigrant problem will be fixed, and everyone participating in our society will be treated equally. That is what makes us so great, we work out our problems, and the results are usually fair for everyone. We will never become a third world country, unless everyone becomes a helpless coward like you.

The premises of your question are wrong, so I can't really answer it. There was no unified group called "Native Americans" living in the Americas when the Europeans first arrived. There were several independent tribes, each of which reacted to settlers in different ways. Some were peaceful and accommodating, some were cautious and wary, and others were outright hostile.
In fact, the first white settlers of the Americas, the Norse, had to abandon their settlements in part due to native resistance. In that case, the natives didn't merely call the newcomers "illegals," they actually drove them from the land. That's a far sight worse then what's happening to illegal immigrants these days.
It should also be noted that many of the Native Americans inhabiting this land didn't even have systems of formal law or the concept of land ownership. Many of them belonged to nomadic groups, to whom the idea of property was a totally alien concept. Of course they wouldn't call anyone illegal, since they didn't even conceive of the idea of formal government or borders.

i support those who want to better themselves. I support those who want to feed their families. I do not support those who come here and lose their way (drugs etc...). If you enter this country illegally then you need make an attempt to become legal by going through the immigration process and you need to obtain a TIN number so you can pay taxes. other than taht...what the hell is the big deal. i know a lot of illegal immigrants....and i can honestly say....these people are good no....great people.
jesus--many americans are narrow minded. There words are pointless. had they any clue as to the reasons these people enter this country...illegally or legally...i don't think they would be so hateful. but unfortuately most of them have lived a sheltered life and onl;y know what their fathers have told them.
i'm glad you made something of yourself.

I don't classify anyone nationality as being that whether legal or not But when you smuggle into any country as a illegal you will have to deal with controversy and heated emotions-the nature of the beast. America has and is generous in accepting people of all nations but welcomes openly those who enter by following immigration laws which every nation in the world has. I am glad for you that you applied yourself by taking advantage of he opportunities offered by this country and you must admit that you yourself breathed and more than likely slept much easier once you were legal. No more hiding, looking over your shoulder and so forth. it's also in South America that the Indians-although Indians have a different origin than the Indians in North America-were the initial people until the Spanish,Portuguese and so on, seeing the wealth enslaved, murdered and stole their lands---all depends who has the power. Welcome.

The whites came to the land where the native americans lived, committed genocide and destroyed the cultures they found. Now they are the existing culture and they might feel a cold chill of karma breathing down their necks.
It probably doesn't matter much. However arrogant, rude and heartless they are, in another decade or two America will most likely be a 3rd world country. Americans will eagerly accept outsourcing from China and India just to feed their families. What goes around comes around.

Because they did not break any of the countrys laws to come here like you did. If you come in the prescribed way, the legal way, nobody has anything against that. But when you begin by breaking the very laws that you claim to want to be a part of, does that make it all right? Nobody I know of has ever said any illegal would never make it in this country but only that the very act of breaking our laws to get here is what people do not like. Would your country welcome us if we went there by sneaking in and then expect them to cater to our needs? We would be thrown in jail, just as any illegal that comes to this country ought to be as they broke the law, disrespected the very laws that are there to protect them. I applaud you for making it so well even though you did it the illegal way and you got rewarded for that. If I were to go to your country as you came to mine, I am afraid I would be looking out of a jail cell so congratulations on the con job you played to get your citizenship. I hope you will do things from now on in the way prescribed by law rather than beginning by breaking it to get your way.

When you, admittedly, crossed the border with out papers, you became illegal. Nothing you ever do will change that. I am glad you have succeeded but nothing changes the past. We all just have to live with our pasts.
"Native Americans" are much earlier immigrants than the rest of us. But they too migrated here albeit a long time ago. There is no evidence (scientific) that any humans lived in N or S America more than about 15,000 years ago. That makes all current population, including Native Americans as immigrants.
