Absolutely. They will all tend to be a little more protective as well. This is a great opportunity for you to allow them to start getting used to a baby in the house as well. They may all be happy now, but when your attention is all focused on the baby, you might run into some problems with attitude and such. Any areas that you will want them to stay out of should be shut-off now, etc. Congratulations!!

I believe they absolutely can. During my last pregnancy, a cat that used to hate my guts started being very affectionate toward me and even sleeping on my stomach. After the pregancy was over, he still was affectionate, but has never slept on my stomach since.

My cat turned really lovey and sweet and sleeps with me and would leave my stomach alone when I first found out I was pregnant, and my dogs well the puppy still wants to play but the older one just doesn't leave my side and nuzzles my lap when I sit down.
So yes, I must say they can sense it.

Probably. There are a number of cats and dogs who can sense changes in their people. Including some illnesses and pregnancy.

Yes animals sense many things before human do. In indonesia when they had that terrible earthquake that createdf a tidal wave all those people got killed not one animal lost their lives they had already sensed what was coming and moved to higher ground.

Probably, though they're not thinking of the situation that way. They have an incredibly keen sense of smell, and your altered hormones, which they can smell, probably seem very fascinating and heady to them. Nothing to worry about.
