A terrorist expert said something a month ago that's made me think something fishy is going on in Bush land. He said that whenever Bush or Blairs approval ratings dip, or some negative press comes their way, they use terrorism to make a comeback.

He pointed out that since Bush was catching alot of heat about hurricane Katrina to expect some terror cells to be busted and more threats from terror groups. He said this 3 days ago and sure as sh*#t Al-Qaeda releases a tape and some terror cells have been busted in the past 24 hours.

Is SCARE and FEAR being used to help Republicans and Bush? Will these tactics be used around election time? Will Bin Laden conveniently release a tape just before voting begins? Will so called terror alerts be issued by Republicans around voting time. And are any buying this crap?

Is this whats happening?

Seems the only conspiracy theory is what our government told us happened on 9/11

And nobody has yet to say that Dems won't protect us. In fact most people don't trust any party period.

And it's not a conspiracy theory, it's a conspiracy fact.

How do you know they hate our freedom? Every expert says "it's not a freedom thing, it's a religion thing".

And no we shouldn't be scared. I will not give power like that over to the terrorists. You can be in a paranoid state if you want, but I'm going to live my life.

You should take that w out of your name and replace it with a b.

hey wilowdreams
I'm not a lib. Your so use to using that as an excuse that it's backfired on you.

And personal responsablility? The question was SCARE tactics not who is responsible? I'm not buying that diversion tactic, stick to the subject moron.

Better believe it! Since 9/11 set the table for the Bush strategy of fear and scare; it has been played with impeccable skill.
What, oh what, is real anymore!

I'm so sure how those scare tactics differ much from those used by the democrats when they tell old people that the Republicans are going to take away their social security and make them eat cat food. Or when they say that Bush is listening on people's phone conversations, or when they say Bush is stealing their civil rights.

Which scare tactic is worse? Last I checked, there ARE actually Muslim extremists out there hell-bent on killing people and intilling fear and terror. Simply pointing that fact out is not a "scare tactic." Using false logic, skewed statistics, and outright lies to terrify old people into voting your way is a far worse scare tactic.

According to this documentary
The politics of fear began in the 70s
It probably began before that with gengis kahn or the like
but this is a good documentary on a difficult subject

President Bush and the Republicans haven't scared me, but seeing an airplane that was taken over by terrorist and flew into a building sure scared the hell out of me. And what scares me more are the people out there that seem to believe we need to not worry so much about terrorist, and just mind our own business.

ok personal attack, your an idiot. Terrorism is a much larger threat than most weak kneed americans want to admit, we like out freedom, well guess what.......the terrorist hate our freeedom, they hate you. They want everyone who is not one of them dead. Don't you understand that?

The people should be scared, we should have been scared for the last 20 years as these extremists spreaded to every nation on the globe. Terrorist groups, small and large are being arrested all the time in many nations.

Its great the way conspiracy theorists think Bush is in control of everything.......I am sure you think he seeded the clouds to cause Katrina too......did he cause the Tsunami too?

Okay let's pretend this out of this world conspiracy theory has a grain of truth...and let's pretend folks vote Republican when fearful and afraid of terrorist...shouldn't the good ole Democrats instead of throwing the conspiracy theory out there answer the question why folks don't believe they can protect America?

I'm really at a loss to understand just what the President might have done to prevent Hurricane Katrina. Living under the dam in the flood zone of an enormous lake in a maror hurricane path has it's own disadvantages. Residents should have thought of that and made preparations. Does it require the president to do that? Also, are we supposed to be excited about re-building a city under a lake, in a hurricane path? I would rather not spend my money doing that.
As for terrorists...they exist independently of the President. Promise.

Its not a tactic. Thier administration is on the way out either way. So, they dont stand to gain anything. Didnt you notice thier trend of honesty lately? Hell he said there was no direct connection between 911 and Iraq. Even if it is the truth that just isnt something to be said. Theyre being honest about the treats facing the country if you dont want to believe it then dont.

You got that right. This whole war on terror thing is a very strategically planned innovation of the Illuminati, who secretly run this world. It is their ultimate goal to establish a new world order fascist police state dictatorship. It's coming. Be prepared.
