only time can heal such hurt. try keeping yourself busy, doing fun things and things for yourself. eventually you'll meet someone else and this person will be a memory.

its hard, I tell ya! But there is a reason he is an ex. Dont forget that! Me and my ex are cordial to one another and yessss I still want him, but I know that he isnt ready for a relationship with me and I cant handle him the way he is. We romanticize and all that crap and make it hard on ourselves. If he expresses to you that he wants to get back with you and the reason the two if you arent together now is still happening, you dont need to go back there. If he is different and you love him so much, try again. Take it slower this time. Good Luck!

Find someone else to love. Four years is way to long to still be thinking about him. Ask yourself a questions. Was he all that????

You will always have them in the back of your mind. You care for them and always will, but trust me if you go out and find someone new, you will find new feelings and look back on this past man thinking to yourself, I am glad it did not work out for look who I would have missed out on. Remember find someone you can be equally yoked with so it can be a relationship that will Last. Best Wishes.

Wow that is a long time. If it is meant to be, it will be. It just probably isn't going to happen when you want it to happen. Obviously. The best advice I can give unfortunately is to find a replacement. You may not love him the same but it will give you somewhere else to focus your attention.

It's hard to have feelings for someone who doesn't have the same feelings. We've all been through it at one time or another. But in any relationship the first step is friendship.

write a list of pros and cons, hopefully the cons will out weigh the pros and think of them often, get out and meet new people and good luck. It took me 5 years. That was 12 years ago, and now i look back and say, why have i wasted so much of my life?

I have the same problem but we aren't in contact anymore. Just gotta deal with it.
Sad thing is I'm the one who "broke it off" so to speak.

Cry a lot. Mourn it. Believe me it works. You get tired of it in the end.
