I am a Tarot and Ruin reader? Would you have your cards or stones read for $15. If not what are some reasonable prices?

$5 for a 3 card spread up to $30 for the celtic tree of life spread. The more cards the spread is, the more you can charge.

I would not pay any more than $20 for a basic reading. Fortunately, my wife's aunt is a seer and gave us a reading for free. She does it for family and I don't think she has ever been 'professional', like having clients see her or anything. She's a spiritualist and uses ordinary playing cards and has her own method for using them. She does this thing with a pencil that is suspended by a string that is attached to the pencil by a wire through the eraser. Like a home-made pendulum. After doing the pendulum on my wife, she knew that she was pregnant. We didn't even know. My wife took a home pregnancy test the next morning and it was positive. I asked my aunt-in law why she doesn't use Tarot and she said that she felt the symbology on the cards were negative and interfered with the information she gets from the spirits. It's nice to have a seer in the family.

i am a geomancer, a form of earth divination.

i am also a very religious person. and i believe that the gifts of the devine should not be profited from.

it is one thing to know what the card or rune means but to be able to "read" it is something else entirely. to be able to relate it to a person's life and give them an accurate reading is a very special ability that not many have. most that actually have it believe that if they sell it that they will loose it.

i would not be willing to pay for a reading (or any spiritual service)

i would urge youto use your abilities to better your own life and the lives of your close friends and family and find another w2ay to earn money.

you can usually be ok with a small gift of appreciation. but remember SMALL as in a token thank you.

I am an ordained minister but i still have a full time job.

not if you couldn't spell rune right. (ok yes I am a jerk I am joking though and mean no offense) I personally dont pay for readings. I'll have a friend do a reading and then return the favor. but for people who do want to pay, 15 seems reasonable.

good luck

No. I actually had a friend who worked as a "psychic" to pay the bills while she was in school. It's all baloney. Even she would say she felt bad taking money from people and promising them certain things would and wouldn't happen based on a couple silly cards.

I had my cards read for $15 - it took about 20 minutes for the reading

(She was REALLY good too - freaked me out with the details of my family and history - she was right on)

Why not have the reader pay ME for my time. That is worth it I suppose, right up there with tv wrestling and astrology. In the 21st century we still have so many gullible people. Sad.

A good Tarot reader would guess the amount, don't you think?

It depends on your skill level. Most people I wouldn't pay a penny to because I could do it better, but if you were truly gifted $15 would be cheap if you were really that good.
