No, not at all. Most of us talk to our dogs. They listen understandingly to everything we say, they never talk back, they love us with great devotion no matter what we say. They are great listeners - we can share all our innermost thoughts and secrets with them and we know they will never tell anyone else. Is it any wonder that we talk to them?

No, you're not weird. Could you ever imagine NOT talking to your dog. I rember this one occasion where 4 of my dogs got "out". Ok, I forgot to shut the fence gate. When I found one of them, I said: "Jake, get in the goddam car" (he went right in). Yeah, I was mad at him, and he KNEW it. He did what he was told. No, I do not train them by "cussing" at them. But it worked this time.
I talk to mine all of the time. No, I don't expect an answer, but sometimes I get one.

honestly, everyone talks to their animals. that's why people have animals, to feel less alone, or to have the unconditional love...well the animals give us unconditional love...it only takes one torn up BMW seat for us to stop loving them(my puppy never did that, but that's a common reason dogs are given up). Just be careful not to think your dog IS a person. because that can lead to him/her being the alpha. you don't want that. dogs who think they're the alpha are uncontrollable.

No, you're not. I talk to my dogs almost everyday and everytime, only people who doesn't have a pet will say like that.

no you must talk with animals because they need you a lot talking with dogs cats , and others animals dosen't mean you are kinda of idiot or weird

It depends... do you have in depth conversations with it? Or do you just talk to it like most people do? Cause I talk to my dog too. Just not in depth convos. Or maybe you talk to it like Will Farrel does in that one movie to his dog Baxter. That might be wierd.

Hello, not at all! I talk to my dog all the time its perfectly normal....It matters what you say to it though.....If you tell it secrets thats fine if you compliment or tell it what happened at school thats fine......Just dont scold it(etc)
