I do not have to worry about it too much since I do not subscribe to any organized religion. I read and meditate and praise on my own. However, from what I understand , one must stop the homosexual activity and remain in a natural state for at least 6 months. I , for one, do not see this as being extremely helpful. You have preists in the church molesting the choir boys, cub scout leaders molesting their troops. And I do not believe there is a gay gene, so I think whatever made a homosexual choose that preference is probably just as ingrained in them as my preference for chocolate ice cream.

Acts 3 : 19 Repent ye therefore , and be converted , that your sins may be blotted out , when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord . ..... Now , for your gay friendly statement............................. 1 Corinthians 5 : 9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God ? Be not deceived : neither fornicators, nor idolators , non adulterers , non effeminate , non abusers of themselves with mankind. .... (the word EFFEMINATE means men acting as women) Also see Ephesians 5 : 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness , but rather reprove them. ........................................Being queer friendly means you`re against God`s Word..

No practicing homosexual can be a Jehovah's Witness but if a person is practicing when we come into contact with them for the first time, we do not condemn them at all. We simply teach them the Bible's viewpoint on all things and they make their own decisions about how to proceed in anything which does not harmonize with God's will.

They try all sorts of stuff, but nothing works. Like asking a person to decide how tall they will be. You cannot change your genetic structure. Some may be those few who are about midway on the spectrum of sexuality and they can go either way. Those folks, can and do, switch sides occasionally.

Homosexuals may attend our services but to become a baptized member of the congregation they would have to bring themselves in line with God's word, meaning they would have to go celibate, or change back to heterosexual(it's possible in some instances) way of life without fornication and it would take some time to prove that. If they then went back to a homosexual way of life, then they would be disfellowshipped. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled, Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for un-natural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been santified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

The same measures that it does for all sin, they are all the same and there is only one answer for all. Repent and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and deliverance.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The first step is confess that it is a sin. Most of you won't even get to the first steep, so how will you get to deliverance?

NO Mandatory treatment.
There are some groups similar to AAA but the person involved must want to renounce before attending.
