my girlfriend dumped me because she "didnt like me anymore." That was during the summer while i had been out of town for three weeks. she was extremely rude about it and very blunt and i tried to be friendly afterwards but she was really mean. she then saw me at school and decided she wanted me back. oi guess i am not totally over her but i do not know what to do. some friends tell me i should take her back. others tell me i shouldnt after how mean she was to me. what should i do? what do you suggest? she was very mean, but now she wants me back. and she was a decent girlfriend while we were going out.

If you are over her then don't take her back. However you may not be completly over her and that's why you are contemplating taking her back. If she was a decent girlfriend and made you feel good while you two were an item then you can give her another chance. But first find out from her where this "didn't like you anymore" feeling came from. If you feel her answer is sincere and there is no one else knocking at your door, then take her back. However you got to be stronger this second time around and be willing leave her at the first sign of her not being a positive additive to your life.

Don't get back together with her.. you'll find someone so much better. Don't let her gain control over you just because she all of a sudden wants you again. Keep your dignity.

Move on, if its not true love its never the same second time around,dont be so desperate. Someone who deserves you and who will be as nice to you as you are to them, will come into your life before you know it.

you should talk to her about the way she treated you then...base your decision on whether she sounds honest or is "making excuses"
they say "don't throw good money after bad" and it means don't get into the same losing position- if she's sorry and has changed you'll be able to tell...
