At 109lbs, your BMI is at 19.3, which is the very low end of the normal range. If you lose 13lbs, your BMI will be 17, which is VERY low (in an anorexic weight range). (Normal is 18.5–24.9, Overweight is 25.0–29.9). I would NOT recommend losing weight, and if you feel compelled to do so, you should seek help.
What's your relationship with food and body like? If you are eating when hungry and stopping when full, that's a good sign. If you are restricting your caloric intake to maintain a lower weight, or you are compulsively overeating, that will certainly throw off your metabolism.
As an athlete, I would HIGHLY recommend that you consult with a nutritionist, and be medically monitored if you do lose weight. There are many medical complications that can arise from dropping to such a low weight.
Here's more info. on eating and body image problems, and also to find support groups and/or a therapist who specializes in athletes with eating issues. You can also find a nutritionist on this site.

At your height your weight is already on the low side and you should not try to lose more or you will indeed lose muscle (as you have little fat at that weight). If you lose muscle you will likely lose speed.
Why are you trying to get thinner? Do you really think looking like Nicole Ritchie is attractive? (a little secret here MOST men think she looks scary and prefer some curve on a girl)
If you don't like your body, talk to your coach about adding a weight lifting routine to your training. That will give you the lean and tight look I think you are seeking, without jeopardizing your strength and health.
Good luck.

I know that this isn't what you are looking for hun but you are thin already. If you lose too much more weight you are going to become unhealthy. The help you truly need is realizing that you are fine the way you are & you don't have to be anorexic for people to respect you. You are healthy and intelligent. If anyone tells you otherwise, they have their own issues to deal with. Best of luck to you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your weight. A 13 pound loss would be way to dramatic for your athletic frame. Remember, athletes weigh a little more because muscles weigh more than fat.
Don't jeapordize your health or your team by trying to "beat the scale"

If you want to lose weight, just increase the amount of exercise you are doing by about 1 hour per week. Also decrease what you are eating by about 100 calories per day. This will cause you to lose weight. You are only talking about 13 lbs and you are not really overweight so you will lose weight slowly.
Considering your height and weight, as long as you are not gaining weight, you really don't need to worry about it.

Your link didn't work.
I think you are crazy, you are already at the low end of "normal" weight. Losing 13 lbs is going to make you underweight, therefore unhealthy. Hope you change your mind.
