Either M21 or M14 for serious distance work, followed by the M40A1 .... all great for reaching out and touching someone ... especially when you care to send only the best!

AK-47 type rifle takes alot of crap and will still keep firing ammo is slightly heavier than M-16 type ammo but has as much stopping power not as accurate at long range but in close contact can lay down an effective barrage and provide heavy stopping power which can be useful in ambush and defence situations

SOCOM 16 with urban camoflage and a 8x power scope, surefire flashlight with the pressure switch near the middle of the hand guard.
Because it shoots 7.62 heavier round which will actually put your enemy down, and not just go straight through him. It seem more durable, it has a shorter barrel for cqb. Its overall just a nicer rifle than the regualr m-16 or m-4

For real long-range work, I'd ask for a Barrett XM109 25mm heavy sniper rifle (good against vehicles, overkill for infantry but in war so long as the bad-guys are dead do'nt care)
Throw in a Colt 0.45 sidearm and some grenades...and I'm all set.

I'd want the XM-8 Battle Rifle and all its interchangeable parts. That way depending on the battlefield situation I could have a machine gun, sniper rifle, or assault rifle with grenade launcher.

For assault situations, an AK-47.
But I'd prefer to act as a sniper. In that case I'm actually not quite sure what my choice would be.
