Bix is an indoor cat. He escaped and brought me the gifts I related in previous question! Now, get this...I write for a newspaper...and poetry...apparently I wasn't paying enough attention to him, having a poetry manuscript to get out. One night, looking straight at me, he walked over to my computer keyboard and poetry briefcase, lifted his leg, and let it go!!!! I was so mad...I was livid...what can I do? I love this cat!

Bix is fulfilling his primal urges. He wants to pee on things he hates. Don't write crappy poetry!

Just kidding. He was probably just doing what cats do. My cat sh*ts on the floor when I am in the shower and it needs to use the litter box which is in the bathroom. I have always loved cats, but they are animals just as humans.--We do stupid things too.

Cats don't generally "lift their leg", but if it pissed on your stuff, it might do it again. Hide stuff that might smell like other animals. Male cats are worse about this.

Cats do what they want. As an owner of a cat, take action for what the cat MIGHT do. Try to train it in the meanwhile, but know--Cats often just do what they want regardless of what anybody tells them.

There is a reason why your cat does this, but it might just be instinct related. They don't think like us. Your poetry might be their litter box. I've learned not to get mad at them, but to instead make precautions to prevent these things from happening; such as cleaning the litter box every day and giving them positive attention.

Males can be more difficult than females, but they all can be tamed with the proper guidance.

I hope that was somewhat helpful. Contact me for any other questions.

Your cat lifted his leg to pee? Not typical cat behavior. Are you sure he isn't a dog?
Either you, or Bix, or both have some issues. Buy Bix some toys and play with him a little bit every day. Try getting him a cat companion to play with and occupy his time. Keep him indoors-always.
I wish I could sleep as soundly as you do. How is it the cat was able to bring all of his conquests into the house then line them up on the bed, one at a time, without you waking up? Does he have a backpack that he loads up? Maybe you should take away his house key because my guess is that he is sneaking in and out of the house several times during the night. He is going on mass-murder sprees and this is no good for either of you. You know what they say about cats who torture small animals, eventually it escalates to abusing small children. And eventually adults, and with you sleeping as soundly as you do, well you might just wake up without some of your parts one morning.
