Me and my boyfriend tried having sex for the first time the other night and we were both virgins. It was actually pretty funny and both of us ended up laughing half the time because we had no idea what we were doing. It ended up just being really painful and neither of us got much out of it. I have some questions that may be really stupid but if you can help me out it would be appreciated. First, is it normal for it to hurt and will it get better for the both of us? Second, he has a peircing down there should he take it out next time to make it easier for me? Third, how do I get birth control I dont want to have to make a doctor appointment just for that, we used a condom last time but I still want to get on the pill as well.

Ok let's see:

1. Yes, it usually does hurt the first time. However, it will get better for both of you.

2. TAKE THE PIERCING OUT!! How can that NOT hurt? Just make sure he cleans really well after sex.

3. Yes you can buy conterceptive on the Internet but it is NOT advisable. They will not be able to determine if you have high blood pressure, a history of blood clots, liver disease, or other conditions that could endanger your health if you take the pill. If the convenience, and possibly cost-savings, of purchasing the pill and other prescriptions over the Internet is attractive to you, make sure the site's pharmacy requires a valid prescription and other info from you in order to proceed with dispensing them. Keep in mind that even if you've had a prescription for the pill in the past, the state of your health can change. That's why prescriptions expire or run out, so that your health care provider can reassess and follow-up on your new needs.

If money is an issue for you, or if you don't have health insurance, there are organizations that operate on a sliding scale and will provide free or low-cost health care and prescriptions. If convenience is an issue, keep in mind that it's your health, which is worth the extra effort. If you're a Columbia student, certain oral contraceptives are available at a reduced cost through Health Services. If you're not at Columbia, start with Planned Parenthood by calling 800.230.PLAN (-7526) to find a clinic near you.

There are many organizations such as Planned Parenthood and various women's support groups that can help you with obtaining birth control. If you don't want to tell your parents you are having sex and want it for that reason, try telling them you are having realy bad menstrual cramps - BCPs are sometimes prescribed for this reason. You can ask your doctor for them. You can often get free samples, but you will have to see your doctor. It's also a really good idea for you to have a PAP smear done once you start having sex.

Yes, it is normal to hurt a bit the first time ,and yes, it does get better. If you are nervous about "doing it wrong" or are not really turned on enough, your body will not produce enough lubrication, you will be "tighter" and it will hurt.

I don't know much about piercings, except that some say it is supposed to "enhance" the sexual experience. I would say for now, figure out the basics before worrying about any of that extra stuff. Good luck and have fun :)

LOL - brings back some memories. It's go to hear you both laughed, nothing like making it a more awkward situation by acting embarrased! Yes, it is painful the first time. Maybe for the first couple times use a lubricant, that will ease a little of the discomfort. I know nothing about the piercing situation but my thought is that would hurt!!! As long as you both love each other and have the same goals, it will definitely get better and better and better and better.....!!! Go to planned parenthood to get information on different forms of birth control. Glad to hear you are being mature about the situation and using 2 forms of birth control! Smart girl!

Good Luck and Happy Humping! ; )

first off the first few times it kinda hurts but gets better alot better..so dont give up.. second off the peircing shouldnt really matter..may even be a good thing once u get past the first 3 times..and yes u must see a doctor to get on BC bc they need to do the whole paps test and all n not all BC pills are the same for everyone so good for u..just do it and get it over with every girl over the age of 13 needs to get it done anyhow..so no matter what keep usin condoms (even tho u was both virgins ) but i wish u well and yes it gets better (alot) i dont know the correct words for it (and im 35) but ur vagina has to pop the pelvic area so that it spreads when u have sex that is why it hurts at first but like i said after about 3 times it gets alot better (and he will last longer once u have done it for awhile)

It's normal to hurt if you've never had sex before. I would suggest taking out the piercing but he will have to clean good afterwards. It could make sex more painful depending on where the piercing is. You cannot get on birth control pills without an adult that I know of. But you might try the local health clinic I'm not sure what their rules are. But I would stay with using a condom. And try to get birth control. You don't want to get any diseases. Or pregnant.

LOL...it always hurt the first time...it may bleed sometimes too....

I'm not sure about the piercing but I would assume for first timers like you it would be better to take it off to make it a lot less painful ffor you...once you've had a few go and it doesnt hurt anymore, he can put it back!

Birth Control- you should really go and see a doctor to prescribe the best one for you because girls have different reactions to different birth control pills...so better get the professionals help on that. Otherwise, just use a condom.

Yes it does hurt a little for the first time and yes it does get better. I don't know much about piercings down there but I suggest he takes it out-just to be on the safe side. As for birth control pills you are going to have to see a doctor, you can only get the pills with a prescription-check with your local health department.

You didn't mention your age. Yes it is usually painful the first time because neither know what they are doing. Some ky personal lubicant can help. You do need to see a doctor and understand, condoms don't always work. I had a 10 pound baby that proved that. You could go to planned parenthood, it is on a sliding scale and confidential. Condoms are good for safe sex, which I am not saying it is ok at your young age.Sex complicates things. I would encourage you not to sneak around.Talk with your parents. My kids did. I wasn't happy about it and one got prgnant at 16. She got married to the guy who ended up being an abuser and we had to flee the state to be safe from him.We finally got him sent to jail. So what I am saying is be very carefull there are consequences to be paid for messing around,as fun as it may seem.Love Grandma

It can hurt the first time, that is normal. 2. If the piercing does not bother/hurt either of you during sex he can leave it in but if it causes problems take it out and remember to steralize steralize steralize. 3. um, if you don't want to go to the doctor, which is actually a good idea, but you can go to a planned parenthood, they are everywhere and in every city and you just walk in pay maybe 5 bucks if anything and they will give you pills. They haven't made birth control pills over the counter yet but they are working on it. Good luck, have fun, no babies! No diseases!

yea it is normal for it to hurt the first time and it will get better with practice. perhaps get some adult movies to look and see how it is done. and about the piercing yes he should take it out because it can catch on to anything in your vagina and it will get get stuck and is very painful. if u want birth control u have to make a doctor appointment or go to your local pharmacy and buy the pills over the counter.
