I live in a neighborhood full of Russians. They came here after WW2. I find that if I dont know them well enough they can be standoffish. But once you have proved yourself to them, they are very warm and friendly people.They arent very expressive facially, so that might make one think that they are rude. But if you ever go to a Russian wedding and the vodka is free flowing, you see these folks in a different light. You have to remember that the average Russian has not had a good century, and they are somewhat defensive with their trust.

there are rude people in all races, all societies, all nationalities. but on the other hand there are nice polite people all over the world. i think you are rude to ask this question

I have never met one. I think it is sterotypical to think they are all rude though. I am sure they come in many different personalitys just as the people from wherever you come from do.

I don't think so.So far, all the Russian ppl I met were really nice and friendly.

hey guys, he was just asking. No, that's like saying, are british full of them selves, yes. No I'm kidding, but I'm sure some of them are. That's like saying "do white people work at mcdonalds" yes they do but not every one of them.
