I colored my hair and the color turned out really red/orange. It looks so bright and un-natural. My natural is auburn and I had highlights and was trying to go a little redder. I used Feria Copper Shimmer and it looks horrible now. What can I do to fix this and how soon?

First off you used Feria. This hari color has metal tones it in to give it the shineyness...That makes it hard to cover...Choos a darker red with a red violet base. Becaue you naturally have auburn hair it will "pull" orange and give you a ruddy look. Use a red/violet base and stay away from Feria. Good luck...

Go to a hair salon if you want it fixed fast. I color mine about every three to four weeks. Go with a color closer to your natural shade.

It will lighten up, but it takes time. When I color my hair, it is never perfect for a few days. I would give it about 10 days, if it isn't better, see a colorist.

Try using a toner.Go to a beauty supply store. They will tell you the steps you need to take.Stay away from any color that says golden.

GO TO PROFESSIONALS! Even if it costs a bit, it's worth it...cause they will have to use products on your hair that will make it all better so it doesn't dry or fall out.
