i have a boyfriend and i have a male friend.
my male friend asks me out all the time and is willing the pay for everything but i turn him down because i have a boyfriend
my boyfriend on the other hand doesn't take me out at all
all we do is sit in his house and stare at each other
should i dump him and get to know my male friend a little better?

Yes, dump the boyfriend girl! Life is too short to be sitting around staring at someone. Yes, go out and have fun with the friend, let him pay for some stuff and then you pay for some stuff. Get to know this guy a little better...he might be boyfriend material!

I guess it depends on who you like the most. But I would have a talk with your b/f and ask him why you two don't go out anywhere. I would still keep the other guy as a friend though. You are doing right, by turning down his offer to take you out because you have a b/f. But if you want to go out, talk to your b/f and tell him. If he doesn't have any money to take you out, then you might have a problem. But you at least should let him know that you want to do other stuff other than just sit in his house. If your b/f refuses to change and still makes no effort to take you out, I would start going out with the friend every once in a while. Just don't go out with the friend all the time. Your b/f might start to get alittle suspicous, especially if you start acting a little different around him.

It sounds like your male friend defiantly wants to be more than your friend. If your boyfriend doesn't offer you anything and doesn't do the things with you that a boyfriend is suppose to do, why not try and see how things could go with your "friend". Besides a man that doesn't want to pay and do anything with you obviously doesn't deserve you.

Well...it all depends. Does your current boyfriend have a job ? If not, he is not able to pay for anything. Does he even have a car ? But if you or any other person reading this are one of those who thinks if they don't have a job or a car, they are just not worth going out with, you don't need anybody anyway. But you just need to do what you think is right. Happy thinking.
