Garlic bread is very old and very traditional throughout the world, especially in European countries and Russia.

Slice up some Italian, semolina bread, length wise. Rub some garlic on the inside of the sliced bread and put a few drops of olive oil on top and as an added ingredient, though not necessary, sprinkle a little oregano or basil leaf on top. Toast it for a few minutes in the oven and serve it hot.

Let mom and dad have some with a little red wine or port....mmmmm...delicious !

It is made from a combination of bread (normally white) and other ingredients. (Normally, garlic, butter and salt).

It is very tasty but has a lot of carbohydrates.
