My dog will urinate in certain places that I don't want him to, so i'll scold him, but he'll just go right back there the next day. And i understand that if I put something new out there, he will urinate on it to mark his territory, but for example he will urinate right in front of the back door, and that is one place i really dont want him going. So if anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks so much.

yes - at Petsmart you can buy a pad that has oil in the middle, and the smell of it makes the dog want to urinate in the spot where you put the pad.

Maybe he is peeing in front of the back door because he needs to go out. How old is he? If this is a new problem he may be suffering from a medical condition. You should take him to the vet. Have the vet test for a urinary tract infection and test for diabetes. If he is young, continue to scold him and take him out more frequently. No matter what let the vet know ASAP that this problem exists. Animals can't talk so they try to tell us what is going on with them in any way that they can. Good Luck!

He goes right back there because of habit and because of scent. You must use a pet odor eliminator to remove the scent. Or he will smell it even though you cannot, and it will trigger him to pee there again.
Until he is house broke, no free run of house. He is either on his leash so he is next to you and in your sight, or he is in his crate. He has a crate, right? Once you get him through this for two weeks no accidents, then he can be free in a closed room with you -- but not including one of the old favorite spot.
Once he is ok there, then expand. Bit by Bit.
Eliminate the scent. Stop the old habit -- no opportunity. Create a new habit.

My little dog used to do that, since he has been neutered he has been better. Is your dog neutered? The best thing to do is bring him out on a leash and don't let him pee in those spots. I know it is a pain, but you need to show him where he is not allowed to go. When he does go there, you can spray it down to get the smell out and also scold him but making him look you in the eyes and say NO over and over. Good luck!!

There is a product out called a pee post,looks like a big yellow spike.When dogs smell it,makes them want to pee.Kinda like running water for people,lol.Id try placing a few of these where you want him going and hope he dehydrates himself before coming back inside!Good luck

Dude u gotta first ask your self whether u rather fairly love her. From the tone of your message, i'm thinkin there is a few doubt in that section. She is obviously very insecure. and that i dunno if u can substitute that and not using a lotta heartache. each and every relationship desires own area or it ain't gonna rather artwork. If she would be in a position to't settle for that, and be trusting, then it is gonna be yet another source of heartache. If u wanna stay together with her, u could desire to be the difficult@ss for a whilst. do not fall for her cryin, drama, and all that manipulative behaviour shes probly sturdy a comin up with. tell her immediately up concerning to the clingyness. And if she assumes stuff (like lookin at different ladies or notwithstanding) then tell her only it ain't real yet u ain't gonna argue approximately it. and then do not even communicate it to any extent further and do exactly what u mentioned. If she refuses to grant u area and springs on with the "or only dont refer to me anymore" stuff. Then call her bluff and take your area anyhow. She is manipulating u with that stuff anyhow. yet heavily, your real question is notwithstanding if u rather fairly love her or not. And if u locate that u do not....nicely....fairly glaring dude.
