Has anyone ever used a public restroom and walked into the "wrong" one by mistake?

If so, was there anyone in there and how badly were you embarrased?

Like walk into the mens? haha...I never did by accident but once I was upset with my brother grabbing my CD player and taking off into mens room so I went in and announced why I was there and if they objected to take it up with him...he gave it back too and was quite surprised at the measures I'd go to put him in his place.

No, I didn't bulge my eyeballs out to look at the guys and no, they didn't appear annoyed either. Hmmm they seemed a tad surprised you could say. Unorthodox some may say but hey..that was my CD player, not his.

Yes I have. I was on a new job and a little nervous because the building was so big with a lot of different offices and cubicles bigger than the office I came from, a little over whelming. So without really looking I walked into the men's room I saw all these stalls and turned around and ran out hoping no one would see me, luckily there was no one in the restroom or near it and saw me, but I was so embarrased for myself.

I did once shortly after my second son was born. We were at a mall and my little man had a dirty diaper. It was half way up his back so I was just in a hurry to get it changed...saw the sign on the door that said it had a diaper station and just walked in. Needless to say, the second I saw men in it I turned right around and got the hell out of there lol. After that I definitely learned to not only check for the diaper changing station sign, but also the women's room sign. My husband STILL won't let me live that one down.

I haven't walked into one by mistake, it was intentional...it was at a Football Game, and when I went to the restroom, the women's had a line so long, I couldn't hold it, and the Men's Room had no line....so I had a gentleman go in with me, he watched out for me so no one would mess with me, but not too many people seemed to care, I got a lot of ugly looks, but Oh well...when ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

Yep. Noone else was in there at the time but a woman did laugh at me when I walked out. Now I always sorta make sure that there's a urinal in any public restroom I go into.

We lived in Hawaii for 3 years, once when me and my bride went out for a drink and a dance we sat for a minute and she had to go to the ladies room, a minute later I got up to go to the mens room. When I opened the door, there was my wife waiting. Along with 5 other women who were already busy in stalls with no doors. I didn't stay long enough for me to get embarrased.
But my wife said they had a nice conversation about me.

LOL! I didn't...but my mom did once! Several years ago, my family went to the circus-my parents, my brother & his wife and daughters, me and my husband. It was at our local coliseum-a rather large facility. It was a very popular show, and there were several thousand people there.

During intermission, my youngest niece, K, had to "go potty." So, my mom-her Grandma, said she'd take her. K was off like a rocket and ran into the nearest bathroom; you guessed it, it was the men's room. Well, she was too little to leave alone, so my mom just stood there looking at the floor while K finished her business, the whole time getting crazy looks from the men!

We still tease mom about the time she gave K an education about men! Mom was scarlet the rest of the night!

It was the evening when the restaurant was most busy.My wife and I (I was about 22 at the time now I'm 53)were eating,it was just a coffee shop(sort of like a Denny's)I went to the bathroom.I thought 'How peculiar,there's no urinals in here'.So I went into the stall,I was standing(you know..)and I see the little recepticle for used "stuff".DING the light bulb appears over my head(like Beevis),"Oh good golly!"I scrammed out of there fast.Thank goodness no one saw me!(and my big red face)

i did at a public park. i didnt realize it until someone got into the stall next to me and had womens shoes on. i waited till she left and then made a run for the door. i was with a group of people who saw what i had done, so it didnt go unnoticed. being embarrased is an understatement.

yes, i went into the local mcalesters on a lunch break. i had been weed-eating and cutting grass, a was probably a little high and i had dirt and grass all over me and in my eyes. i went straight to the restroom to clean up before i ordered my food. because i didn't need to pee i didn't notice that there were no urinals. i did notice that the soap i was using was unusually nicely scented. when i came out of the restroom my co-worker was looking at me funny.
