Why does every thing crash when... I browse some folders? It is usually "My Videos" photos. It crashes everytime I go into it whether it be using Windows Explorer, ImageShack, or other misc. programs. When I am browsing to open a file, it always crashes when I open "My Videos". I don't think it is a virus. I have run many different antivirus programs and nothing has shown up. Any suggestions?

Well you have a few choices, none of which are that great...

1) Delete the entire My Videos file and start anew. Something is currupt in that file, whether it registers as a virus or not and upon loading the file, your computer dies. So, you must choose, whats more important: Having videos that you can't even watch, or the safety of your machine?

2) Purchase and run XoftSpy. This is by far the most thourough program I have ever run across. But note that I said purchase, I had a friend download the trail, and try and register it as a full version but you will not find a serial number anywhere and when he attempted to download a keygenerator (at which point I got tired of warning him about the dangers of pirating software), it turned out to be a combo pack of spyware and Alicitworm.A - which left him with little choice but to reformat. (I can't feel too bad for him, I did warn him after all.)

The memory of your computer is not enough to handle huge files in your My Videos folder. Buy a new computer with lots of RAM and Video memory. Or bring your computer to Circuit City or Best Buy or Fry's and have them install more memory if your computer is upgradable.

Normally when your system crashes in windows xp, there is a send report box that comes up. if you click where it says more details, it will often show u the file that is responsible for the crash. look up the file online to get more infromation about it.
