if you are talking about fishing with crabs as bait,then you can get crabs all year round in some places like cornwall and devon estuarys are the best for early crab,but as for the red eating crab i supoose summer months are the best for these type if you can beat the locals to it they know where every nook and cranny on their own stretch of shore line

Just be careful where you get your crabs...public toilet seats are usually the best place to get a variety of them...cheap hookers don't give crabs for free but they have them readily...now theaters are not well known for crabs; but if you want lice just lay your head back on the head rest and you can enjoy a party on your head.
