OK, Don't yell at me for this:
I love wine. I live in Ohio. I was at the supermarket and I found a bottle of wine simply called Cheap Red Wine.
I looked all over the label trying to find out if it was Merlot or what. Its made in California. The back label said more than the type they were looking to make a good flavor. I bought it because I thought it was funny and it was about $5. IT WAS GOOD!!!
They also have Cheap White Wine. The bottles are dark green with a brown paper bag type label.

Franzia Chillable Red. It's a sweet "house wine" that comes in a 5 liter box that costs about $10. It's similar to lambrusco. Not for the conoissieur or serious wine drinker, but tasty to most casual wine drinkers.

It can be found in almost any run of the mill liquor store.

I would recommend the website below. Click on wines under $20. My personal favorite is from California and it's Rosenblum Cuvee Zinfandel. I get it for about $8 at Beverages and More or Cost Plus. A good source to locate wines is http://winesearcher.com

Sangre de Toro via Torres, a Spanish pink wine from Catalonia (no, it isn't Rioja), is sweet and cheap. The bottle is decorated with a small plastic bull, each and every so often black, each and every so often golden. i comprehend this wine is exported to the united kingdom, yet i do no longer comprehend no matter if that is presented in different countries.

If you can find it, Messina Hof Gamay Beaujolais. It's made in Texas, only about $10 a bottle. You can order it through the net at http://www.messinahof.com/ . It is very nice to drink with beef or Italian food, nice and fruity with a smoky aftertast, not too dry, and very good cold! It is my absolute favorite!!!

If you can find a good Malbec -- try it. The Malbec grape is grown extensively in Argentina. You can get a very good bottle for about $30.

A good Malbec tends to have a complex and deep flavor.
