This is a very complex, deep question. However, after giving it a lot of thought, and many, many beers, I have determined that it's the alcohol in alcohol that makes you drunk.

the yeast produce a chemical called sugar ....thats what gets you drunk. This sugar is not like regular table sugar though, cause if it was, i would be eating that instead, lol.

nothing, it is the alcohol that enters your bloodstream, then into your brain that scrambles the signals, it also de hydrates you, as it is mixes with the oxygen carrying corpuscle's. regards LF
