I like to paint places I've visited, and I also like to paint different things that have happened to me. I have a painting called "Gossip" which was inspired by my big mouth husband telling someone something he shouldn't of, and of course it spread and caused some problems. I also just use my imagination and let my brush and paints show me what the canvass wants.

Try painting an interesting dream. If you don't remember your dreams you can do this. Place paper and pencil next to your bed. In the morning sketch or write down what you remember about your dream. Do this before you start your day. You will start to notice that you remember more and more about your dreams. Check out Rene Magritte. One of my favorites!

Painting is my all time hobby, the last idea was going around with my camera and taking very close photos of flowers.,like from the center and up or of two or three petals.They come out very nice. try it .

I used to really enjoy listening to classical music and trying to draw what the music was expressing. You could also try using your imagination and drawing a landscape from a world you've created in your mind, including animals! Have fun.
