yesterday i went to pet my cat and it scratched me right by my eye. i was at the beach yesterday and i was itching like crazy! it is all over and it is disgusting! i dont know why it is happening and what might have caused it!?

Yes they can. Cat scratches can also give you 400+ other germs and diseases that you do not even know how to produce since their paws are involved with litter box germs. If you have a cat and get scratched often, then get a small tube of Triple antibiotic ointment from your local drug store for a few dollars and keep it around the house. Not only will this miracle stuff keep your wounds from getting infected, it is great for other boo boos too!

benadryl, your allergic to the cats saliva.....if she is a kitten you could also have contracted cat scratch fever so you should look it up. If benadryl knocks you out the cream works great and shouldn't make your eye itch at all. Normally with a cat scratch if you wash it with soap and water immediately afterwards it will stop itching.......if its not then you may have been exposed to something else you are allergic too that just affected you worse because of the scratch allowing it to get under your skin. Either way the benadryl cream will work great.

its very serious a deep cat scratch they have bacterias in their nails cat scratch diesise is a possibility you should see a doctor when left untreated it can be quite bad and since it is youre face disfiguring you may need antibiotics or it may be allergy

cat scratches & bites r nothing 2 fool with. go 2 ur dr.s u could hve an infection.

you might b alergic 2 ur cat, take some benodryl.
