Sorry to sound pathetic but I just think that you should go out with guys your own age for now. When you're a little older then you can date older guys. Anyway, everyone knows 9th grade boys are horny devils.

Give it a couple more years. 2 years isn't that big of a gap, but I think dating should start in 9th grade.

if both of your parents are aware of this relationship and if you both are mature enough to understand all of the important topics in volved in undertaking such a mature situation, then yes, i think that there is nothing wrong with it. if you are only dating him to look more "grown up" or if you want to do what your friends are doing, then no!relationships are very serious business, and if the couple in question are not mature enough to consider the risk of an unwanted pregnancy, the spread of std's, or the like, then they have no reason to attempt dating anyone no matter what their age. i hope this advice helps, good luck to you both, and remember, play it safe.

Your parents aren't going to like it much. But as you get older that age differnce will disappear. When you get into 9th and he is in 11 your parents should be more understanding.

You're sure too young to be dating alone, and he's just barely old enough. Ask your parents. If you hesitate to ask them, that's your head telling you something isn't right.

if it's o.k. with your parent's, sure, go have fun. but be careful, don't get in a alone situation with him. stay around a group of kid's. don't let him take you ANYWHERE that is dark or private. i do suggest "double dating".
