This is concerning cowboys question . The 14th Amendment aka anchor baby law might get changed. The only reason this became because illegal immigrants used their children as tools to be able to stay in the U.S.

The company I work for had a fire in the paint room last night , been replacing conduit all day long, and just got home a hour ago, first break I had all day.

At the moment several prominent lawyers are looking into exactly this question ... namely the phrase "under the jurisdiction thereof" ... it is without doubt a fact that unless you are LEGALLY in this country, you are under the jurisidiction of another country ... namely the country of origin ... the 14th has been interpreted wrongly, and that can, and will, be rectified ....

When congress debated the 14th_ amendment it was understood upon the vote that it was for the people in America BEFORE the vote and Not incoming foreign nationals. Any other interpretation is contrary to the intent and design of that section of the Constitution and is legally incorrect. Judicial fiat cannot change the intent of a constitutional amendment as noted in the debate and congressional understanding that based the vote. Without another amendment "anchor babies" are as illegal as their parents and should deported with their parents.

Cowboy doesn't need to make up anything because facts are facts,the number of illegal women giving birth each day in the south west has skyrocketed.I live in Scottsdale AZ and I read about it every day.The county hospital is going broke because of it. Its a true danger to this country.Tell me if you were in labor and in Mexico and planned on coming to El Paso where its very easy and very close to enter,why would you wait on the Mexican side until your water broke,cross the border ,hail a cab and have him take you to the hospital,just so your baby is born in the USA.That happened 2 weeks ago in El Paso.
Don't tell me that baby's not an anchor baby.
Ive seen it happen too many times ,I KNOW its true.
Close the loop hole ,close the borders ,no more illegal immigrants.
And you decided to relax in immigration did you lol good luck....

Katslover is right~ I agree with someone else who mentioned those babies are just being used as tools and because of our 14th amendment are getting citizenship for them. Criminals are clever, are they not.
