How does god see me, and why do I feel like a stranger to myself?

You ARE god. YOU are the creator of your own destiny by your words and deeds. How "god" sees you depends on how you see yourself. You are "all that is" in your own life/world. What you do to your own body reflects in your health, what you do to your own mind reflects in your emotional state ( although admittedly outside factors have a lot of pull there too).
People only feel like a stranger to themselves when they are seeking something and don't know where to find it. Your sub-conscious has all the answers to your questions, it is merely a case of finding the right signal to connect the sub-conscious to, to trigger an answer.
I felt like a stranger to myself for a long time, because I was doing everything to keep everyone else happy / keep the peace and not upset people and denying myself my life My breakdown forced me to realise that this is MY life, and is the only one I have this time round. Only I can make it count. As a result I am more aware of who I am and I like myself for who I am. Anyone who disagrees can go and see a taxidermist for all I care. I finally "fit" my skin.
Start pleasing yourself a bit more and being more selfish with your time. Hang out with yourself in calm chilled out places, doing things you enjoy doing. You'll be amazed at what you get to know about yourself.
If it means anything to you I don't feel like you are a stranger to me. You seem to be a genuinely spiritual person who is seeking to be better and that is natural. By the time you hit my age ( mid 30's) you are going to be incredible. You're almost there now !!

An intimate knowledge of God and the way he sees things. This can only be obtained through a thorough study of the Bible and meditating on the things you read there. God sees you as an individual. You are not at all a stranger to him. He hears every thought you think and sees everything you do. If he stopped thinking about you, you would cease to exist. Get to know him. He provides us with all good things.

Ignore the first post. You and I are smarter than that.

These are the steps you must take my good friend.

1. First you must fear God. The fear of God is not necessarily to be afraid of him but more so to respect him. Much in the same way you should respect your parents or your teacher. But of course the Creator holds much more prominence than a fellow human. To truly understand this you must see his place and yours. He is way up there and you are just one of the many specs he made, though he views us with more importance than a spec. Once you see the majesty he holds and the importance of his title the learning process can begin. Take a moment to grasp that everything you sense was made by his hand and be humbled by it.

2. The next process is very important. When you finally have gained a sense of fear of God you must then seek him. Sure you know God is all knowing and all powerful but who exactly is he? Is he Yahweh, Allah, Zues or some other being? There are thousands of religions with thousands of gods are there not? How exactly do you find the one true God? Well the answer is you do not, at least not necessarily; God is the one that finds you. Have you seen God or have you listened to his voice? If not then he did not choose to reveal himself to you and the only reason for that is you don’t care to know who he is. This is the only way to separate knowing if you choose an idol to worship or the God that actually exists. Experiencing God is to know him once and for all. When you seek him, you are to seek him with all your heart and all your soul and he will be thrilled to show himself to you. Seek and you will find.

3. After you had the wonderful experience of meeting him the last and most important step is cleaving to him. You can do nothing without him after all. Without him we are like scattered sheep or newborn babies just waiting to be devoured by stupidity and inexperience. I will quote this next course because you need to remember it as it is written:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.”

You shouldn’t be shy; he is there to help you after all. The very ability to truly see something is to see it in God’s circumstance; though his eyes. If you fail to view things his way, then you might as well be blind. Alternatively if you succeed, you can never go wrong. You will see things as they are in every situation. Since God is the Creator of all things who else would you consider being your teacher? This requires of course the admittance that you are human and therefore stupid. As humans we don’t know it all, but there is no use arguing this fact, the sooner we come to grips with reality the sooner we can advance into better understanding. So saying “I am stupid” is not really a bad thing as it is an honest statement, but with God all things are made perfect including our stupidity.

Always happy to help :)

Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones. Luke 16:10a (NLT)

Seeing life from God's view, life on earth is a trust. This is a biblical metaphor of life. Our time on earth and our energy, intelligence, opportunities, relationships, and resources are all gifts from God that he has entrusted to our care and management. We are stewards of whatever God gives us. This concept of stewardship begins with the recognition that God is the owner of everything and everyone on earth. The bible says, "The world and all that is in it belongs to the Lord; the earth and all who live on it are his" (Psalm 24:1 TEV)
We never really own anything during our brief stay on earth. God just loans the earth to us while we're here. It was God's property before you arrived, and God will loan it to someone else after you die. You just get to enjoy it for a while.

We can never actually see ourselves, or anything else, from God's perspective, but we know from Jesus' teachings that we are ALL sinners, and that unless we are completely free of sin the Most High and Most Holy God cannot abide our presence before Him. Only Jesus can provide that ultimate, transforming cleanness of spirit, through acceptance and faith in His death and resurrection. We are utterly powerless to "earn" our own salvation.

Read the sacred Books of the Messengers of God and meditate based on those divine verses.
He sees you as His special and noble creation. When you read the Books you will understand what is the meaning of speciality, of nobility and how you can receive His guidance for a peaceful and happy living.
You cannot understand truth by imagination or by human explanation.

Prayer helps a lot because it's the time when you speak with God and He speaks with you when your heart is open and He can show you. It's kind of hard to explain, but intimacy and developing your relationship is very important. Have faith.
God bless

For you to get to know God, talked to him more, read more study more, be right with him, know what's right and whats wrong. Get a better relationship with him. That's what I believe he wants from you, and to see yourself threw his eyes you must know him first.
