All fairy tales.
You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help? Both are correct, you see, the closest interpretation that we've had of the actual Bible is the King Jamses Version, which is just that, King James' version. However, now they have found some old scribes that have been scientifically dated to about 1 or 2 AD, which were written by Mary Magdaline, and Judas. Revelations predicts that Gods word would be hidden for some time. You see, apparently King James, or whoever burried theese scrolls did not belive that women should be heard from in the church. And since Judas is the one that handed Jesus over to be crucified naturally, they didn't want to belive that he would get to go to heaven just like the other appostles. So yes the BIble for the most part is factually, however people along the way have changed it in some ways to fit their version of the truth, kind of like how the NIV changes Gods word also. The King James version is the closest thing to the truth we have right now. You can look up Judas' and Mary Magdelines scribes interpreted into English online also if you would like.
Also in RE: to duck phups answer, If you read Genisis, compare it to the theory of evelution, and you will see that Gods word told exactly how it all happened long before man had anytime to come up with any of theese silly theorys. And I quote, "God divided the waters from waters and the waters in the sky he called heaven. People back then had no way to fly, they did not even know that clouds were made up of water, then the theory of evolution goes on to say that teh earth was covered with water. Genesis says the earth was covered with water and it was void and without form. I could go on and on. Just compare the 2 and also remember that the Bible also says that a day to God is 100 years to us, and the Bible was written first read them and compare.

The Christian view does not make "experience" to you, through fact you do not realize it. you have bought into the "worldwide view", hence, you think of that basically your way of questioning is actual. Others who've this form of questioning trust you through fact it coincides with their perspectives. No Christian will ever undertake the worldwide view, as Christians have faith basically interior the word of God. even nevertheless some Christians would possibly not interpret the actually scripture properly, they are going to in no way sway from it for any reason. it fairly is not a count of 'retaining perception it is unproductive and emotionally detrimental' or of people 'hating people who contradict them'. it is your person opinion. fairly, it rather is a conflict of two diverse strategies of questioning which will in no way mixture mutually or be agreed upon from the two area.

I'm not sure there is aright answer for this question everyone has there own views. I haven't been subjected to much religion but I have read the bible from time to time I think the bible is the greatest story of all times. I guess you could say many look at it as a good book of morals I see a lot of contradiction.

there have actually been some things in the bible to be proved true such as many biblical cities. In 2750 BCE the Epic Of Gilgamesh was written depicting many of the same things as the bible, the great flood, the garden of eaden and some think this proves the bible is true because it is completly unrelated yet it talks about the same things

You can assume if you wish that the Bible is as factual as the Koran, and the Koran is as factual as the Torah, and the Torah is as factual as the Greek Mythology.

If the Bible is not factual...... throw it away.
The problem comes when man starts putting his interpretation (spin) on the Bible. I despise these questions/answers that want to send you to a web site for the answer because they cannot answer it themselves.
We have to study our Bible and know it for ourselves. STUDY does not mean pul a text out here and there.

WHAT A CLEVER QUESTION..You are inviting somebody to make a judgment on what Christians believe ? Correct ? Can somebody believe anything else than what she/he believes ? Convince a man against his will he'll be of the same opinion still.

You can't say the Bible is factual because it has too many contradictions in it. There are still some facts in it but it is too corrupted. The Quran has no contradictions in it and is the word of God.

In the bible as we know it today, there were 44 bible writers who wrote the inspired word of God.
Inspired means they wrote what the holy spirit inclined them to.
Doesn't it seem strange to you that this book written over thousands of years by men who in many cases did not know each other? True, some of them did live and write at the same time, but many lived centuries apart and the thread is the same.
The bible had a master writer who inclined writers to write in such a way as to predict...........and it came true.

I think the bible was written by an ordinary man. It's no big deal. Some people think the bible is sacred and i think it's just a story about people in the past that's all. Nothing that happens in the bible is happening anymore is it not odd?
