because i would like to help tutor some of the alternative placement students at my school in hopes that they will be far enough ahead to return to regular classes is this possible well there is this guy in the alternative school whihc is with our highschool just in a room on the top floor and i really really like him and i want him to come back to regular classes

Well, you should ask some teachers or some councelors at the school about tutoring.
But you shouldn't do it just because you like that boy. You can still see him outside of class and you should really worry about your own studies. Do your socializing outside of class.

This guy may not want to return. Usually, from what I've seen, alternative school placements that are working are much more flexible and interesting. The reasons that he changed from the "regular school" environment probably haven't changed. It really is a different approach, not just some sort of remedial learning center.

Of course.It depends upon his skills, his desire to achieve and accomplish and whether he wants to return to the regurla environment, or if he is more comfornatble in the special place where he is. The pressure of the regulara classes may be too mcuh. The best thing to do is sit and ask him, why he is there and what his plans are. How you can help him and if he wants the help.
