Right.
There is nothing worst than parents using children for adult issues. And they are in this case. They should all be ashamed. I hate this action the most-its a selfish pity play. If I could all their children would be taken away for their selfishness in this issue. It is just unfit of them and I don't care what flack I get!

All Illegals Aliens should be deported or subject to review of deportation. As t BrianthePigEatingInfidel', when congress debated thee 14th_ amendment it was understood upon the vote that it was for the people in America BEFORE the vote and Not incoming foreign nationals. Any other interpretation is contrary to the intent and design of that section of the Constitution and is legally incorrect. Judicial fiat cannot change the intent of a constitutional amendment as noted in the debate and congressional understanding that based the vote. Without another amendment "anchor babies" are as illegal as their parents and should deported with their parents.

THere are still questions about how right or wrong all of the issues surrounding illegal immigration are. I think I recall that if you are born here, you get to be a citizen. Not so if you were just brough here. Maybe its been too long since I took an american govt. class. I do feel strongly that all the wee ones deserve a good start in life, so I say let them be here. I live in a immigrant dense area with a lot of migrant workers, and Im sure many of them are not here by legal means. That being said, i do not in any way feel threatened by that. I pay taxes, and am in one of the hardest hit tax brackets in america. I work hard, and i get just about NOTHING from the government, except a huge tax kick in the butt for being self employed. nonetheless, I dont sit around stressing on all those "illegals". I think this issue is a dead horse, and you and so many others keep beating it while it rots. booooorring!

If they're brought here, they can be deported. If they're born here, they're U.S. citizens.

Honestly, I have never seen such meanness toward a group of people in my lifetime. One would think from the way some people felt that illegal aliens are the problem and if they would just all go home, everything would be great. In other words, they're being used as scapegoats.

In 1994, former California Governor Pete Wilson pushed for an initiative that banned all public services for illegal aliens (schools, medical care, welfare, etc.) The public approved but the courts turned it down. It was illegal, quite clearly, although I don't remember what the court's exact reasoning was. The thing is, Wilson was trying to scapegoat illegals when in actuality California was suffering a massive economic downturn because the Pentagon pulled something like $50 billion in defense contracts with the ending of the Cold War (California was a huge defense manufacturing/research state.) Instead of condemning the U.S. government for getting rid of contracts (as it should have since nuclear weaspons weren't needed any longer, thank God!) he blamed the illegals.

Once the court ruled, life went on and the economy picked up. But Wilson never lost his reputation among California's Mexicans (many of whom are legal and have been here for decades) that he was a racist.

The Bush Administration is rightly worried about illegals such as Middle Eastern Muslims who use tourist or student visas who come here to do damage. Why are they picking on the Mexican illegals?

If you really wanted the illegals to stop coming, penalize those American companies that hire them. Require them to check the national data base, which is a pilot program to reduce illegals working. But firms don't want to do that (news reports have shown that) because they know they're hiring illegals, but they want to reduce their payroll costs.

The children of illegals are illegal children.I am tired of the baby anchor loop hole and it should be closed.
Anyone that is here illegally and has a child here to use as a stepping stone to a green card or citizenship is an abusive parent.Like that criminal woman in Chicago hiding in a church, depriving her child of fresh air and sunshine, while hiding behind him and crying big phony tears and lying to every one for her own benefit.I bet if someone offered her citizenship in exchange for that boy she would give him up in a minute.Shes a 2time criminal, and a poor abusive mother.Put her in jail and deport her lying azz back to her country.I'm tired of her using that child as her life line .

RIGHT!! Those 'loving' parents should have thought about their illegal actions and the possible consequences before they brought those kids here. They should give them up to a decent truly, loving adoptive mother and father who has the common sense to take care of them and make decisions that do not put the child in such a situation. Otherwise, they should take those kids and go back to 'wherever' and make a decent life there and enter the legal way if they want to return. You don't have to be rich to live a clean, decent life. You don't have to have a lot of money to teach your children good work ethics, how to be law abiding and to be proud of who you are.

DEPORT illegal immigrants
NO amnesty
NO exceptions
CLOSE the border
MILITARIZE the border
STOP ALL immigration, temporarily

So for the people that think that if someone comes in this country, pops a kid out that they should stay and we should pay... how about this.

I don't want to pay for my birth, so I run to Canada for the free health coverage. Is that right?

No it isn't!

They should go back with the parents.

Should be right, but children can stay. Crazy laws, break the
law coming in & we will pay for prenatal care & delivery & make child a citizen. Spoiled fruit should produce spoiled fruit, meaning
citizens have citizens.
Children not born here are deported.

That's a good point.

Although I consider myself a liberal and a democrat, the whole "it's for the children" thing is something I just don't buy into. It's one of those silly far-left things that very few democrats swallow.
