Its pathetic !! Most of latinos now legal, were once illegals, and those born or brought here legally had at least one parent or grandpartent illegal. So I think its pathetic that some latinos born here attack illegals so much. A person with dignity never forget his roots !

I think many are just playing on the side they think will benefit them more.Kinda like when back in highschool you wanted to be cool,so if the cool kids smoked you would to just so you would fit in.That's how i see many of the latinos who attack their own race.The funny part about it is that whenever you go apply for a job you still have to put "latino" you can't put "3rd or 4tth generation born american".And when people see them they don't say "hey that's an american citizen",more than likely they see "that's a latino,he's probably illegal and doesn't even know english,damn where is ICE when u need them".You can change the way you eat,the language you speak and even the culture you live,but sorry to say you can't change the skin color.Latino is always associated with brown skin,which nowadays is associated with being illegal so unless you go down the michael jackson route ,if your brown skinned ur more than likely being looked down by those whom you now call "my anti illegal friends".

It's a matter of illegal vs legal .. not about race ... the Latinos who are born here and are legal could conceivably be considering themselves American, right? Which is what they are .... And as such they may not be too happy about what the illegals are up to ... you can be a patriot of whatever background ... you can also be a pro illegal, of whatever background ........

Pathetic is you. Most legals think it is pathetic that illegals flood in here and expect equal rights as them. They worked hard to be here legally or repect there ancestors who came here legally and dont want to be bunched in with them and have them create a label that society would lump them into.

alot of latinos have had thier families living in the southwest since it was mexico, so no not all them trace to illegals, alot of latinos families came legally not by jumping fences and to alot of people it is not a race issue it seems the only poeple making it a racial issue are hispanics that support illegal aliens

I wish some people would get it through their thick heads that not all illegals are from Latin America. I knew one from Russia and he went back to Canada. Also, not all Latin Americans are illegal. My wife is Peruvian and she is very legal.

Maybe because being legal they see how the illegals are scamming our system, they now realize the process of paying taxes and having to obey the law, about having to provide themselves with healthcare.

That's like saying a person who comes from a family of bank robbers shouldn't complain about bank robbery. Crime is never part of someone's roots, or at least not a positive part. I think its especially commendable when someone with a connection to illegal immigration speaks out against it. (Unless they themself happen to be one)
