Throughout its history, Islam has always been spread and maintained by murder and oppression. It can't grow among free, informed societies.

i converted to islam , a year and 8 months ago. It was everything that i was looking for and much more. It is the Last and true relgion. if you like to know anything about islam let me know.
My mother at the age of 60 , after i converted 6 months converted to islam ( i never preached to her islam) on her brithday Alhamduillah (praise Allah)
we both were christans, we belived in one Allah (GOD), we belived that there was more to spritality then going to church on fridays. and I allways wished there was a manual out there that would show me what iam suppose to be doing in this life, what this life was for. i found it Islam! alhamduillah (praise Allah)
This relgion is far from HATE< it is more demacratic then the usa LOL. the things you see is that muslims are human just like anyone eles. and are just as much influinced by shaytan and this world desiers. and was protected by the prophet muhammad. peace and blessings be upon him. what you see are muslims. that dont know how to practice and some dont even know there own relgion, may Allah guide us all to the stright path. find good muslims that dont hate and you will find the true meaning and exspamle of Islam.
By the way couldnt anyone ask a qesion about the cathlic priset, the KKK memebers who have writen there own bible, anyone can project hate. but a real belive strives to know diffrent. and strives for there belifes. and strives to be what Allah intended. that is good people and good exsamples for the rest . so we can see eachother in junnah (heaven).

Theres no such thing as missionary work in Islam, so I dont think people convert cause they were convinced by others, more or less cause they see some small detail that gives them peace. Im a muslim cause I dont think God can be human, nor can the driving force of the entire existence be killed on a cross in a humiliating way even temporarily. That would shake my belief in His Power.

Why? Its when you want to practice what your religion want you to do. If you claim you are Cristians, Jews, Budhist, Muslim or what ever there must be something that your religion want you to do or not to do.
You have to pray, you have to do this and that.. but why? As long as you keep asking why then you start asking to find out why.
That's why, someone after they find the truth than they convert or stick for what religion they are believe to.

No, it seems to you like a religion of hate, thats just your stupid ignorant perception of it... Those terrorist arent conventional islamic follwers, just as the majority of Christians dont condone or agree with the Westboro Baptist chruch views and actions, must Islamic people do not condone those of the terrorist..Also, why would anyone want to convernt to Christianity when the Christians have commited the Crusades, the Spanish inquisition and the Salem Witch trials?

I'm a Muslim. You are entitled to your opinion, which I respect. But I ask you not to judge the religion based on what is shown to you by the media. I also ask you not to judge it based on the actions of the few who either misinterpret it or use it to pursue ulterior motives.
If you want to learn about Islam, read the Qura'n. See for yourself the message it tries to get across. You won't have to get too far to realize that what it preaches is the exact opposite of what your about it is.

Islam is a religion that tell us to be honest ,love each other , be cooperative ,work hard to achieve our goals while believing that God will always help us .it's the religion of leniency and mercy .
it prevents us from lying ,killing ,cheating,acting bad with people .
it urges us to respect our parents ,help poor people , to sympathize with orphans , to not harm animals .
believe that this is the spirit of Islam ,and if there r people who r muslims and act badly that doesn't mean it's Islam fault .cus u can see extreme , bad ,and with misunderstanding for the religions everywhere not just some muslims.

You know, many people have converted to Islam because they think it's a religion of hate. To some newcomers(I have seen) they think being in such a militant group makes them big bullies. Some folks think that it's like being a part of the Mafia. I am serious.
Islam would only survive if we get rid of the fanatics in our midst...if we don't, we will try to blow up those who won't join our evil sect and in the process blow up the whole world.

read Quran first then come and tell me "it's a religion of hate" im not even a muslim and even i know it's a religion of peace. you shouldnt judge a religion because of some people who doesnt even understand Islam and claims that they are muslims.(terrorists,some islamic countries etc.) (and even if you read it you have to understand the metaphores and you have to dig deeper to understand the true meaning)

only uneducated people would assume islam is all about hate. people convert to islam because they believe it is the correct religion for them.
