Obviously you're straining your eyes. Get away from the screen and the tube, or spend a little less time on them. If you wear glasses, get some that have the computer tint on the lens. That might help. Try eye drops after your screen sessions, and try to get a little more sleep. If all else fails, see an eye doctor.

I think it has something to do with your eyes being tired, or else that its such a contrast between the bright screen and the dark.

remember to blink... you could be having dryness causing your eyes to feel tired but what they are actually saying is "close for just a second".
