There are many WRONG ages to have sex! The best age to have sex is when you are old enough to realize why the people you dated were not the ones for you and what you really want out of a life-long partner. You should also be old enough to know what you're own faults are in the relationships that have failed. When you have that figured out and you find the "right" person who will be life-long, then that's the right age.

*** and NO at 16 and not even at 18 will you really know and understand the past mistakes you've made. We just think we do. *****

The age in which you are married ....

but because of today's moral values among our youth I would suggest that the age be ... when you think you are ready (mature enough) to become a parent and all the responsibilites that it includes.

The very first time you have sex you may get pregnant or get your partner pregnant -- even when using protection such as a condom and "the pill".

The very first time you have sex you may receive an unwanted "gift" ... like HIV, AIDS, or any of the many STD's that are out there!

NOTHING is 100% safe other than not having sex!

Be well educated before making a life-changing decision such as having sex for the first time.

there is no magic age, but if you are asking, I think it means you are not ready.
you should wait as long as possible and really wait for the right person. Some people really do wait until marriage. I'm not saying you have to do that, but it should be someone you think you are that serious about. It makes it much more special. I know you will hear a lot to the contrary. Go with your heart.

Sex is not about age it is about maturity. First of all do you want to experience sex as an act or discover making love? If you are asking about your children the best thing to do is give them all possible information. If you are a child-do your homework!!!! When you know all the pros and cons and diseases and feelings of others when they had sex you are better prepared to know when you are ready. Maybe you should do a survey type question.

There's no right age. It all depends on the person. Different people do it at different ages. Waiting until marriage is always a good idea, though.

The right age is when you can be financially and emotionally responsible enough to raise a citizen of whatever country you're from. Simply giving a child a roof and food is not enough. There are way too many people who have been raised that way and you see the mess this world is in. Please wait!

The right age is when a person is mature enough to accept the moral and financial responsibilities of raising a kid, if a pregnancy should result.

Who puts age limits on that?? When you are married and you are both mature enough to handle it that is the right time to have sex.

Personally I don't think age matters, its really about maturity and love and the ability to understand what an amazing thing sex is.
