Hurricane Katrina was awful, but what it happened again? Would New Orleans be ready for a second big storm?

I live in New Orleans, and your answer is a resounding NO. Not even close.

No. Some resident being interviewed said it took 25 years to rebuild 100% and have things back to normal after Hurricane Camille, which was stronger. But because of New Orleans being below sea level anyway, so it's still just as bad. I hope they are spared for a long time. I hope they never see that again.

From what the information human beings say, no they at the instant are not. It became ashame what occurred to the individuals over there. The center of Engineers knew of the undertaking and that they only placed the money in there wallet. all human beings is in possibility of a few sort extraordinarily those alongside the coast line of any state. Water is a topic for one and all.

I do not think they are even ready for a small storm. In my opinon I don't think they were ready for the first time. They did not have good evacation plans.

how can they be ready when they are rebuilding the city and it is still under sea level. why rebuild in the same places???
