I'm sure the higher power exists regardless of the fact that aliens in all probability exist.
I am also sure there will be differences and similarities to the various Earth culture's ideas on the Divine.
I am also sure the wide spread information that aliens do indeed exist will help open minds a little more so of whom which were more closed to new ideas.

Thanks for bringing the fact that Christians and Muslims can share one thing.
If you include Judism too, it means that there are a many diversified in other aspects, but still do not deny this fact.
Also, if you are not a believer you can see that any group of people organize so that there is only One in the top. Would not that encourage you that this model is adapted by all Mankind because it seems logical and that logic can mean that there is one creator after all!!

Imagine we meet a high evolved intelligent non-earthian civilisation. Guess what? I am sure that many christian & muslim missionaries will try to convert them - like they did in africa & america.
Christians, Muslims: their "God" is the only god in the WHOLE UNIVERSE.
