The kittens are suffering from malnourishment. You can try to feed them kitten milk (pick up at wal-mart, pet's mart) but it is difficult and require's commitment (every 4 hour's) Also kitten's cannot eliminate waste on their own and must be stimulated with a wet towel. Easiest way is to find a new mama cat or dog. Is this her first litter? Best bet if you want it to survive is to go to the vet. If you can't afford try the milk. Experience is the best teacher. Good luck- if the babies make it they are usually the most wonderful animals. Very loving. I have raised lots of orphaned babies- birds, opossums, raccoons, rabbits, wrens, etc and the best info long run comes from experience. Give it a try. You can only do your best. Don't force too much milk into the babies mouth but do make sure to feed every 15-20 minutes until it's no longer lethargic.

Hi I have a cat was pg 5 times. I had her fixed today. About one dead kitty, and one you tried putting by mom, I think something is wrong with the whole litter I would take mom and kitties asap to a vet. They do have emergency vets. I can't believe this happened 1 week later. The listless one must be fed by hand it needs fluids our your going to loose one. I feel so sorry for you If mama is longhaired onthe belly you have to cut hair away from and around her nipples. I would move the other kittens away from mama and try to open it's mouth and put it on a nipple yourself. If not get an eye dropper and try to feed it I would try water then milk thinned with water. But best the vet. The kitty is dehyrated.Hope all will be well.
Sincerely,
Betty Boop

Sometimes the mother will neglect some kittens if she feels they are weak or there are too many. Try bottle feeding it like other said but you also have to do other steps.
You need to give it constant attention. Give it a light massage with your fingers to stimulate it's muscles. Also spend some time each day holding it on your chest. The heat of your body and the breathing motion and heartbeat will simulate what it needs from it's mother to not feel abandoned and lose hope to live.
If things don't get better after a few days take it to the vet.
Hope everything turns out okay.

She probably laid on them and squashed the breath out of them. I had a cat that did that once. Out of 7 kittens, she squashed 6 of them within 3 days of their birth. Some animals are not good mothers. You may have to bottle-feed any surviving kittens. Sorry, and good luck!

You should try to feed the kitten yourself, but don't use cow's milk
