I dunno what god believers think of that... I haven't asked them. I think it's encouraging that the world is moving away from mythology and towards reason.

nicely there are numerous religions older than 2000 years now.... yet some impressive non secular have grown out of trend... maximum especially Greek/Roman mythology, character cults of Jim Jones and the dep. Dravidians. yet many are thriving after over 2000 years. Now if in some years The messia comes reckoning on no count if he claims to be right here for the 1st or 2d time he might desire to place the cabash on the two Judism or Christianity respectively) and can on the comparable time the two be certain allah's revelations to Mohammad or deny them.. while you're an athiest you will definitly be hoping for Jesus to return down tell the Jews that he has been right here in the previous, tell the Christians they have been given each and every thing backwards, tell the muslims that mohammad became jsut delusional and then say "Beam me up daddy there continues to be no clever existence right here." yet once you ever get right into a concern the place your chilly mind is of no use, all issues are possible with the aid of faith. there'll constantly be a might desire to attempt to remedy/take care of impossible situations with faith and prayers.. it is the way we at the instant are ... and how the worldwide is going i don't see an anesthetic completely satisfied state everywhere on the horizon.

We are living in the end times.

As for what I think about the atheist population growing??? Well, our jobs as Christians is to spread the word and if people reject Jesus Christ it's on them. Few will pass through the narrow gate-

You seem to have a weird attitude like it's suppose to bother us that the atheist population is growing- I'm not sure if that statement is true or not but in the end Christian's will be the one's smiling. So laugh now it won't last long.

Population is growing so of course it's growing, but so is "god believers". Not to mention atheists weren't widely spoken about a few decades ago as they are now. Most just assumed everyone believed in a god.

I wish that you should not blow your trumpets to that so much yet. The fact is believers like me have long been waiting for the truth to come out. I am one who invovled my self in searching for what really is real and what is an illusion. Most religions did really exist in the past centuries because people have lived too long ago in ignorance and opportunists saw a big way to enrich themselves by preying on human weaknesses. While the OT says "FEAR IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM" one should not look at it in the way fear has been taken advantage of by evil desire to control most people's mind in the world.
However, even if we find the real origin of human existence through the DNA and through evolutions or even by way of extra terrestials, there will still be that nagging questions as why do we as human creature be any different from other animals that exist on earth and it seems that since the beginning of time we humans are given the task to care of the planet here and it looks like even beyond. Why and how is it that we are the only living specie that ever involved ourselves in the search of finding where we come from? I believe in science but i also have to consider thinking of the other factor built in our system which is not all present in other creatures. How did we come to possess such intelligence, sensitiveness, feelings and emotions. Brute animals make family by just instincts and mate whoever they see and want. But humans still need to feel for someone before it makes a decision to form a family. That, I as a believer who refuse to take it blindly accept science as a quest for reality and that my belief is still open for possiblity of both as coming from one source.

I think, So? Each to his or her own, IMO. If you want to be Atheist or Christian or Pagan or Hindu, what does that matter to me? As President Thomas Jefferson said, "But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

First of all I have a minor in philosophy, so I've had a few logic courses. However, I'll get to your statement and your request for an opinion. I don't think it is possible for me to care any less than I do about what you just said.
