if in windows click start, programs, accessories, character map.
if on a mac click edit, special characters
these both open programs with characters from eevry language listed

if your laptop hasn't been set on the international keyboard you can go to "insert" and create shortcuts for the vowels that have accents, but on most keyboards it is: ctrl + shift + the vowel (a, e, i, o, u -- for Spanish. I don't know really know anything about the French langusge).

Click on "insert" on the toolbar above your document, then "symbol," and you'll get all those neat little accents.

if your using word then go to insert- symbol, theyll be on there but its the letter rather than the accent. there are codes you can use also but i have no idea what they are

Without knowing what your using to type your document it's hard to tell you. You can maybe try cpoying and pasting these characters:
