Your best bet is to work out of the airlines hub, for example I live in Milwaukee so I ama flight attendant for Midwest and I applied at the headquarters. Usually the headquarters is about 1-2 miles away from the airport. If I were you Id be a gate/ticketagent in customer service. Training is easier.

Go to the websites for the different airlines (internet search will find them). They'll have a section about the types of employment they offer. Just click on that. It will tell you what experience you need to have and how you should go about applying.
