LOL!!! Holocaust not caused by christianity...r u kidding me?!?!?!? Why do you think the jews, a group of people with the exact opposite beliefs were being executed, why do u think germany's symbol was the iron cross....why do u think he always referred to himself as some sort of crusader knight...no it was completely caused by christians...everything from how they got people to fight and how they decided the poeple who would die.......there is no argument there.

You had me going, up until Holocaust. Nice try.
Nazis were not an occult Christian group. Hitler, while raised Cathiloc, also made sure in his reign, to eliminate any religious belief, intolerant of all. Christianity and Nazis dont mix. He was not Christian, the idea comes from the fact the CATHILOC church would not even take a stand against what he was doing. The pope never even made any statment condemning his actions.

This is because people need something to believe in when it seems like everything is going wrong. If we can blame it on some "higher power" then it seems easier to belive (go figure, right?)
Also, I think it is easier for people to believe something that is partially fantasy than to live in reality. And anyone that believes that the Bible is 100% accurate needs to go take a Bible as Literature class. It's a history book, people, nothing more.

God transcends human weakness however, and is larger than self theology. The miracle of Jesus Christ whether you believe He is the Messiah or not, is His enduring altering in personal lives after 2000 years.

We are all conceived from the same energy that created this world in which we live, if that life force can create this world, surely that same force can proviide for a way to be brought from the dead. that very energy resides in everything on earth, you are a product of that same energy that we refer to as god so you are a son of god. jesus was a product of that same energy so he was indeed a son of god. the rules you speak of are to protect our minds. to keep evil thoughts out. to protect us from ourselves.
it's always a choice though. if you choose to corrupt your mind, you will suffer, we are punished by our sins , not for them.
