My husband has a broken soft spike on his golf shoe.

You could go to any golf shop and in the shoe section, or close by, there should be replacement spikes for the shoes. They would also sell the tool you need to change them.

Depending what kind of shoe, you can take them back or send them to the manufacture to repair. Now if it's not covered int he warranty and the shoe is a lower priced shoe, you can try ex poxy and get one last spike change out of the shoe. I'm guess the spike broke off or the backing that holds the spike in came out.

unscrew it with a golf shoe spike wrench (all club houses have and or sell them)

screw a new one in
