have you checked to make sure you have enough brake fluid in the master cylinder?

check with the dealer, i think u need to reboot the cpu, something like pressing the brake peddle a couple times before u start the car, u also may need to replace the exciter ring that is what the sensor records

Does this car have Vehical Dynamic Control if so there might be steering angle sensor that need resetting to zero. make sure the brake light work too

Was the work done by an authorized dealer? If not then go to the dealer, because the light will need to be cleared by plugging in a computer and clearing the fault code.
