There are many things to look at in a presidential candidate.I would not vote for a one issue candidate no matter what that issue is. I am against any illegal immigration,I am for sealing the borders, but I would not vote for a person on that issue alone. They must offer more to this country. They must be able to handle everything that comes before them ,not just one.

i think of I in basic terms spoke back this comparable question some minute in the past, yet right here is my answer - back: i think of that McCain will win because of the fact Obama keeps spewing out rhetoric and making all varieties of 'exchange' speeches that have no which ability. He (Obama) provides NO specifics for WHAT differences he intends to make. I mean, the yank human beings might desire to appreciate WHAT differences he intends to make - they have a top to appreciate. additionally, being a senator for a trifling 3 years hardly qualifies him as experienced to run the country. that's the comparable as asserting, "Gee, right now I in basic terms found out a thank you to alter a tire on my automobile and alter the oil, so as which ability i'm an experienced automobile mechanic". i'm no longer in entire help of McCain, yet i think of he's the 'lesser of the evils' working. i think of that, as time strikes on throughout the time of the campaigning of all the applicants, human beings will (with any luck) comprehend that Obama provides the comparable previous empty speeches, no longer telling the yank human beings what he ability by ability of exchange - and that'll be his undoing with getting elected.

I agree there are several other issues. Immigration is just one piece of the pie. I would tend to look at the whole picture when making a decision for which canidate I would vote for.

NO!!!!! There are sooooooo many more important issues in this country like the lack of affordable health care, never allowing a repeat of anything like what happened in New Orleans to ever happen again (the poor in this country need the help most, etc.) Yes, illegal immigration is a problem but it's NOT our only problem.

A true candidate's platform has to have MANY planks,...if he/she put the illegals issue front & center, it could cost him/her. A lot of people will want a really good foreign policy.

No, but if they campaign against illegal immigrants they'd probably (hopefully) put a good dent in the con vote.

hell no, if you think that immigration is America's biggest threat or issue, you really need to "go out more"...

You should really consider reading the papers more often or at least watch the news..
